የኢትዮጵያ አእምሯዊ ንብረት ጽ/ቤት እና አይ ቢ ኤ ኢትዮጵያ በአእምሯዊ ንብረት መብቶች ጥበቃና በፓተንት ሰነዶች የታቀፉ የቴክኖሎጂ መረጃዎችን ለማሰራጨት፣ ችግር ፈቺ የፈጠራ ስራንና ስራ ፈጠራን ለማበረታት እንዲሁም ወጣት የፈጠራ ባለሙያዎችን ለማበረታታት እና የገበያ ትስስር እንዲያገኙ ለማስቻል በጋራ ለመስራት የትብብር ሰነድ ጥቅምት 18፣ 2012 ዓ.ም በአፍሪካ ህብረት የኔልሰን ማንዴላ አዳራሽ ተፈራረሙ፡፡
Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office and IBA Ethiopia sign a Memorandum of Understanding at African Union Nelson Mandela hall on October 29, 2019 with the purpose of facilitating adequate legal protection for intellectual property and disseminating technological information contained in patent documents; establishing partnership in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, startup incubation and acceleration; promoting creative ideas of young innovators so as to provide them with opportunities to transform their creativities into profitable business ventures by providing space to mature; and enabling commercialization of creative ideas, self-employment, and transfer of technology, as well as creating managerial and financial capability.
